Sweet Ford
This old Ford is a beauty. The paint is perfect and it has bunches of custom parts. The only problem is the dang thing eats tires like they are going out of style. When this truck came from Ford it had a straight axle front end. Now it has a........wait for it.....pinto front end. Eeewwww (you can quote me on that). Many old custom trucks and cars have had a mustang II front end installed to improve handling. The mustang II front end isn't a very good suspension design either. The Pinto front end is worse. It is lighter duty and the parts are harder to find.
All whining aside we found some parts and put this show piece back on the road to the Auto Rama. Donny did some really nice work here. Just goes to show that the Axle and Wheel can get it done!

My brother in law, the trash man, has a new boat....
Trailers can be tricky and fickle beasts. The trailer axle in the picture needs some help. A bent axle and very rusted u-bolts were making for a precarious conveyance (yeah, I just wanted to say "precarious conveyance"). Here at A&W we have a knack for rehabilitating bent axles. With some valuable 'old school' knowledge from Charlie we had this axle well on its way back to the bay in no time.

Angel's Lifted Tundra
Welcome again to the A&W blog. We work on a lot of off road style trucks. With giant tires and tall rims these guys present a special challenge. This lifted 07 Tundra is a great example. Trucks with no lip on the rim and those pesky rim saver tires are tough to work with. Daniel got this truck driving great. At Axle and Wheel Aligning Co. we can get it done!
